The Turbo Conversion Phase 2
In the never-ending quest for more HP, I decided to build up a new motor that could take full advantage of the EFI.  After battling with blown head gaskets and stretched head bolts, I decided to to use ARP head studs, and a 20vt headgasket.  I also upgraded the turbo to a K26/T04E hybrid unit.  The oil and coolant lines had to be custom made using AN fittings.  The head has been rebuilt with 40mm intake valves, and mildly polished and ported.  I had to take an unusual path to the air filter using a 3" Turbonetics close radius 90, and a custom intake pipe.  All coolant hoses except for the two main hoses are Flexfab silicon hose.
